Vanguard recently hosted its sixth annual Ship Tech Forum at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa on March 5th. The event was a huge success in building momentum for the future of shipbuilding in Canada.
About 140 attendees participated in this one day conference, which delved into emerging technologies like AI, AR, fusion welding and digital twin in shipbuilding. Lessons from the National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS) were also shared by representatives from Irving Shipbuilding Inc. and Seaspan Shipyards.
In this piece, we provide a snapshot of the event in pics and tweets.
