Canada is looking for manufacturers and businesses to assist with medical supplies to help combat COVID-19. If you are a manufacturer or business and can answer yes to the following, then the Government of Canada would like to hear from you.

  • You manufacture in Canada and/or have ready access to necessary inputs through your supply chain.
  • You have equipment or facilities that can be rapidly re-tooled to meet medical needs, including for personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and surgical gowns; sanitizers; wipes; ventilators; and other medical equipment and supplies.
  • You have skilled workers who are able to respond and who could be available for work in the current circumstances.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Canada’s Plan to Mobilize Industry to help fight COVID-19. The Plan puts in place new measures for businesses to “rapidly scale up production or re-tool their manufacturing lines to develop products made in Canada that will help in the fight against COVID-19.” Products that are included in this Plan are critical health and safety supplies and equipment, personal protective equipment, sanitization products, diagnostic and testing products, and disease tracking technology.

If your business or company can help in this situation, go here to complete a form that will help the government to assess your ability to help combat COVID-19.
