In a recent development, Arcfield Canada Corp., renowned for its prowess in delivering top-notch solutions for aerospace and defence, was awarded the coveted CF-18 Avionics In-Service Support program by the Department of National Defence (DND). This contract, marking a continuation of Arcfield’s successful endeavors, spans a solid five-year term and boasts a substantial total value reaching up to $211.6 million CAD.
Pooling their expertise, Arcfield Canada rallied together Team Northern Sentry, a consortium comprising esteemed entities like Raytheon Canada, L3Harris Technologies, Palitronica, and Terranova. Their collective mission? To furnish a comprehensive sustainment solution and steadfast in-service support to the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), ensuring the seamless operation and upkeep of Canada’s CF-18 fighter fleet.

Arcfield Canada hosted a gala contract award ceremony at its headquarters in the heart of Calgary, Alberta, on March 7, 2024. George Chahal, Member of Parliament for Calgary Skyview, was in attendance, underscoring the significance of this investment in bolstering Canada’s CF-18 fighter jet fleet. Attendees, ranging from dignitaries and representatives from the DND and RCAF to partners, suppliers, and local media, converged to commemorate this monumental achievement.
