Vector opens Australian facility

Toronto-based Vector Aerospace has opened a engine repair and overhaul facility, Vector Aerospace Engine Services-Atlantic, in Brisbane, Australia.

“Australia is a sophisticated aviation market and is an extremely important market for us in terms of the tremendous growth opportunities,” said Jeff Poirier, president of new operation. “With this new engine facility, our aim is to take advantage of these growth opportunities by offering operators throughout the region a variety of services including field service and engine repairs on the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A, JT15D, PW100, PW300 and PT6T engine series; as well as complete overhaul and test capability for the PT6A engine.”
