Ottawa is betting $4.5 million that the North’s next power source will be small, nuclear, and made in Canada.

The details: The investment comes via FedDev Ontario and will accelerate CSMC’s reactor from detailed design through to demonstration, with an eye on eventual deployment in Canada’s Arctic.
