Canada’s interim AOR MV Asterix has arrived in Levis, Quebec

Chantier Davie Canada Inc (CDCI) and Project Resolve Inc (PRI) are pleased to announce that the MV Asterix has been delivered in Lévis, Quebec and that the vessel’s acquisition from its former owners is now complete. The arrival of this modern container ship marks another important step in Project Resolve’s program to convert the vessel in order to provide interim at-sea support services to meet the Royal Canadian Navy’s operational requirement for at-sea replenishment.

The vessel conversion will take place at Davie Shipbuilding in Lévis and features a pan-Canadian team of world class suppliers. Pending a signed agreement with the Government, the converted vessel will be delivered for service in the summer of 2017.
