Shipbuilding Tech Forum 2018 in pics and tweets

Over 150 members from military, government and industry, gathered for the fifth Shipbuilding Technology Forum on March 1 at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa.

The Shipbuilding Technology Forum is a one-day conference that is produced by Vanguard with the aim to showcase emerging technologies, address a range of marine and shipbuilding issues and ship repair.

This event facilitates meaningful dialogue between industry, government and military so as to provide stakeholders with the knowledge and share lessons learned from a technological perspective with the aim to showcase successful investments in cutting-edge technologies.

The 2018 event featured speakers like Andy Smith, Deputy Commissioner – Strategy and Shipbuilding, Canadian Coast Guard; Chris Brosinsky, Director of the IDEaS; Pierre Chartier, Innovation Management Advisor for the Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP) and others.
