OSI Maritime Systems receives ISS contract for ECPINS-W sub software

OSI Maritime Systems of Burnaby, B.C., has signed a contract to provide in-service support for its ECPINS-W Sub software. The company did not disclose the customer but noted that the software is in service across the Royal Canadian Navy’s surface and subsurface fleets. OSI also signed a recent contract with the Royal Australian Navy to provide ISS for the ECPINS-W software, installed across its fleet of warships and submarines.

“ECPINS is the only ECDIS independently certified against NATO WECDIS STANAG 4564,” OSI said in a statement.

Under the terms of this new contract, OSI will upgrade its most advanced ECPINS-W Sub software and provide ISS for 6 years, with options to extend for up to 20 years.
