MDA to provide DND with Raven UAV

MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates of Richmond, British Columbia, has been awarded a CA$11.3 million contract with the Department of National Defence to provide an unmanned aerial surveillance solution.

In a press release, the company said it would deliver the Raven-B, an UAV built by AeroVironment of Monrovia, California, as well as its own full-motion video exploitation tools, training, maintenance, and support services.
