The upcoming Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 are set to make history, and Lockheed Martin is playing a key role as an Official Champion Partner. This partnership reinforces the company’s long-standing commitment to military personnel and Veterans, building on its previous support of the Games.

First launched in 2014, the Invictus Games serve as a powerful platform for recovery and inspiration, bringing together Veterans, active service members, and communities worldwide. The event provides an opportunity for up to 550 competitors from 23 nations to showcase their resilience across eleven adaptive sports, all designed to aid in the rehabilitation of those who have been wounded, injured, or become ill while serving.

“As a proud defence partner to Nations worldwide, one in five of our employees globally is a Veteran, reservist or military spouse,” says Lorraine Ben, Chief Executive, Lockheed Martin Canada and Regional Vice President, Latin America. “Military and Veteran support is deeply ingrained in our values in Canada and around the world, and we are honoured to work with the Invictus Games in creating lasting impact for this community.”

“We are grateful for Lockheed Martin’s continued support as we come together to celebrate, honour and cheer on this year’s competitors,” said Scott Moore, CEO of Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025. “Lockheed Martin has demonstrated a dedication to service members and their families for decades. This year’s partnership strengthens that commitment, showcasing the transformative power of sport and competition.”

Set to take place from February 8-16, 2025, this year’s Games will introduce several winter sports for the first time in the event’s history. Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, Biathlon, Nordic Skiing, Skeleton, and Wheelchair Curling will join the existing roster of Indoor Rowing, Sitting Volleyball, Swimming, Wheelchair Rugby, and Wheelchair Basketball—expanding opportunities for athletes to compete and heal through sport.

By partnering with the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025, Lockheed Martin reaffirms its dedication to those who serve, ensuring they have the resources and recognition they deserve on their journey to recovery.
