Lamperd seeking new deals

Lamperd Less Lethal expects a major bump in business in the next several months.

In a release last week, the Sarnia-based company said the federal government had given approval to various departments to purchase its products (the deal is not mention yet in the government’s updates on standing offers and supply arrangements). Lamperd completed the delivery of 250 Less Lethal Launchers to Corrections Canada in March, part of a larger deal with the federal department.

The company also said it was in negotiations with Saudi Arabia and Turkey for orders and is negotiating with a New York firm to become the exclusive seller of Lamperd products in the United States and Central and South America for five years.
