Government seeks industry advice on ISS for new ships

The federal government is seeking industry interested in sitting on a joint government-industry working group to shape technical requirements for the in-service support of the Arctic/Offshore Patrol Ship and the Joint Support Ship.

In a Letter of Interest issued this week, Public Works and Government Services Canada said the working group would be part of its ongoing engagement with industry around the two shipbuilding projects and would help assist with the “technical requirements of the future competitive RFP process and resulting contract by providing advice, information and recommendations.”
