Future Land C4ISR, is it a challenge or an opportunity?

A new report by TMR reveals that the command, communications, control, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) market is expected to reach a value of US$132 billion by the end of 2026. The research company is predicting a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.8 per cent over the period 2018 to 2026.

C4ISR plays an integral part in advancing the systems used for defence strategy and safeguarding nations. With such a predicted growth, C4ISR systems will continue to play a dominant role within military operations.

According to the TMR report, North America is leading the global C4ISR market, and it is expected to continue in this position with a CAGR of 4 per cent over 2018 to 2026.

Given the upward trend of this market and the growing demand for C4ISR systems, Vanguard is hosting its fifth C4ISR and Beyond event in Ottawa on January 30, 2019. The agenda for this one day conference was just released, highlighting the growing trends and future of C4ISR.

The first session of the day is on Future Land C4ISR: Challenge or Opportunity? The panel will discuss how industry can deliver on effects and requirements as opposed to meeting the technical specifications from programmatic, operational and technical views.

“Each year Vanguard offers an unrivalled experience for Canada’s defence and industry partners,” said Terri Pavelic, editor-in-chief of Vanguard. This event offers a unique opportunity to get together, in one room, to discuss the challenges, developments, and accomplishments within the Canadian C4ISR context and to highlight the emerging technologies that are coming into play.”

Registration is open for this event that will be held on January 30, 2019, at the Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa. To learn more about the agenda and speakers, go to https://vanguardcanada.com/c4isr19.
