DJI Enterprise and Gap Wireless to Host Canadian Launch of DJI Enterprise Mavic 2 Enterprise Drone

DJI Enterprise, the world’s leader in civilian drones and aerial imaging technology, and Gap Wireless, a leading distributor of products and services for the mobile broadband & wireless markets, will jointly host the official Canadian launch of the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise (M2E) drone on November 20th in Mississauga. The event, showcasing the capabilities of the M2E in a live demo, will be held at the Gary Morden Centre, 7535 Ninth Line, Mississauga from noon to 2 p.m. Attendees can register at https://www.gapwireless.com/tech/dji-mavic-2-enterprise-launch/.

The M2E is designed for any business that can benefit from an aerial view to get the job done, including Public Safety – police, fire, rescue – and infrastructure inspection. At an affordable price-point but offering powerful features, the M2E is ultra compact and foldable with an array of advanced controls and accessories that enhance human capabilities. This drone stands out from the pack with zoom imaging, modular accessories, heightened security features, and airspace protection.

Attendees at the Canadian launch will see how the M2E expands capabilities for close range operations, providing enhanced visual access from a distance rather than putting personnel in harm’s way.

Here are some of the industry-leading aspects of the M2E.

Refined Imaging & Valuable Data Capture: Drone pilots doing close-range inspection or personnel responding to emergencies can gain enhanced visibility with the high-resolution 12-megapixel stabilized camera along with 2x Optical Zoom and 3x Digital Zoom.

Modular Accessories to Extend Capabilities: New DJI accessories can be mounted on the M2E’s body with operation through the flight control app, providing new ways for pilots to communicate and configure drones in the air. Spotlight, speaker, and rescue beacon features further enhance the value of the M2E in Search & Rescue situations.

Enhanced Data Security: Password protection makes access to the M2E and its onboard data easy for the operator while protecting against misuse by others. A new GPS timestamping feature records time, date, and location of every recorded image for maximum accountability.

Improved Airspace Safety: Every Mavic 2 Enterprise is equipped with DJI’s AirSense technology that provides positioning alerts on nearby manned aircraft. The M2E has powerful sensors that determine relative speed and distance between the drone and objects, ensuring better stability flying and hovering in all situations.
