Digitization is changing military operations

Digitization has rapidly changed life on Earth as we know it. And due to this, the Canadian security and defence industry should strive to be at the forefront of these developments to ensure maximum protection of our country and to aid in military operations. This, of course, is not limited to potential security threats via land, air, and sea but also against the bane of new technologies in cyberspace.

As the oldest print media for the security and defence industry, Vanguard has dedicated its December 2019/January 2020 issue to report on the latest technological advancements in the military, particularly on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, system upgrades, and similar technological improvements. Taking a step further, Vanguard has organized its sixth C4ISR and Beyond event to bring together top industry players and reputable members of the military and government for a dynamic sharing of ideas on the current digitization initiatives for C4ISR and their significant implications to security.
