Calian renews training contract

Calian Technologies renewed a $17.6 million contract with National Defence to provide professional services for course design, course management, and course delivery of training to military personnel as well as administrative support to the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and Engineering (CFSATE) in Borden.

Calian has been providing the school with instructional services for aircraft maintenance and repair, engineering services, training support and maintenance services, general administrative and information support services since 2004. The two-year renewal, which starts in August, will see Calian continue that relationship by providing both training personnel and services.

“In awarding this contract to Calian, DND has once again recognized the value of our service and the expertise of our personnel,” Kevin Ford, president of Calian’s Ottawa-based Business and Technology Services Division, said in a press release.
