Bluedrop to deliver Hercules courseware

CAE has selected Bluedrop Performance Learning to complete work on the development of courseware for Canada’s CC-130J Block 7.0 aircraft upgrades.

CAE, the prime contractor on the Operational Training Systems Provider program, is designing, developing and providing the in-service support for the CC-130J and CH-147F training systems. Bluedrop, which has been part of a CAE team on the program since 2009, will create approximately 30 runtime hours of new courseware and update approximately 270 runtime hours of courseware, to be used for training RCAF technicians.

Bluedrop will be working closely with CAE and Lockheed Martin, the manufacturer of both aircraft, and will use the CAE-developed Air Force Integrated Information and Learning Environment (AFIILE).
