Lockheed Martin Canada is betting big on Nova Scotia. The company is adding up to $126 million in salaries and 320 new jobs over the next five years, on top of its existing 500-plus Halifax-area workforce, in partnership with Invest Nova Scotia.

Stephen Isaacs, General Manager of Lockheed Martin Canada Rotary and Missions Systems, said the company’s roughly 40% Canadian workforce presence in Nova Scotia makes it central to operations, and ties into the province’s $2.6 billion defence industry.
