C4ISR and Beyond 2018 in pics and tweets

In the age of great technological advancements where every electronic device can be a sensor compiling large amounts of data. It is quite easy to be overwhelmed with the enormity of the data rather than making full use of it. But to get there, we need to ride the wave of data instead than being drowned in it.

On January 30, 2018, Vanguard held its fourth annual C4ISR and Beyond event on the theme of Beyond Sensors.

With a stellar agenda that focused on ideas and capabilities that can be implemented when wrestling with data overload, how to effectively use C4ISR to interoperate and enable desired operational outcomes, the event was “an outstanding success,” according to Terri Pavelic, editor-in-chief of Vanguard.

The C4ISR & Beyond conference exists to facilitate open dialogue amongst military, government and industry stakeholders. It creates and fosters relationships, and contributes to unifying our collective efforts to deliver and sustain those capabilities that are key to the Canadian Armed Forces in operations, to the Defence Team mission, and to the Government of Canada’s realization of its Defence Policy objectives in a challenging and contested world.
